Celine & Alexis met at a local milonga in Lyon in 2010 where they danced for more than one hour without stopping. Then they met again by chance in Buenos Aires and continued to enjoy beautiful tandas.

Alexis: “The third time we met was at an international event in France. I had already decided to work with tango as a professional. When I saw Celine again and danced with her for hours, I knew that she was the partner I needed.

Celine: “I think it was evident to us both”

They have been working together since 2011 and from the beginning on, they knew that when dancing tango they were looking for:

“A deep dialogue that enables us to move in harmony with the music in a comfortable embrace, subtle leading and shared sensations”

Ruth and Carsta have known each other for many years and have taught at each others events. They share a vision of tango and tango teaching.
Their recent collaboration at Proitzer Mühle in Germany led to a project of teaching together elsewhere.
In their lessons, Ruth lays particular emphasis on both the musicality and structure of tango, whilst Carsta is happy to share her views on how to dance comfortably in both
roles.

Regardless of how long and intensively their students have been dancing, Carsta and Ruth take them on a journey deeper into Tango, encouraging them to expand
their horizons, both in dance technique and interpretation of the music. Given the opportunity to explore both roles during the lessons, students are able to experience the dance as a whole. The broad range of images, used to explain
physical processes, helps students to develop their own tango.

In their classes, they will go back to the very basics of tango.

Look forward to a refreshing, inspiring, and motivating class with Ruth and Carsta!

Morning session,  with somatic movement, by Annika

The morning classes aim to gently wake up the body and prepare you for dancing and hours of embracing. We will learn to detect and release unwanted tension before it leads to pain while also improving our coordination and body awareness. Classes will include both embodied anatomy and slow, conscious movements. It is calming for the nervous system and can also be described as meditation in motion.

Some of the benefits of releasing unconscious muscle tension are that you will be able to dance with less effort and with greater precision. And of course, when you can be more aware and relaxed in your own body, it will have a positive effect on your dance partner.

Welcome to explore!
