The Venue
We dance in the city center. We have rented 2 rooms. One room to share meals, and one 230 square meter room, for your comfort, with a wooden floor for dancing.
Christianshavns Idraets Klub (Bådsmandsstræde 20, København) will be our home for the dance weekend. They are located inside the Christianshavn neighborhood. 5-10 minutes walking from Christianshavn metro station. 1 minute from "Frelserkirken" (Saviors church with the curly tower), 1 minute from the famous Christiania neighborhood, and 3 minutes from the canal of Christianshavn. The venue is less than half an hour away by public transport from the airport or the main train station. Easy access is assured in other words.
The venue is celebrating their 100th birthday this year :-). I'm very happy to be dancing here, in an institute dedicated to a healthy mind in a healthy body for over a century.

Harbor Boat Tour: 11.20 - 12:20
It shows the new and old Copenhagen from the water perspective :-).
The boat leaves from "Holmens Kirke" - opposite "Børsen" - 15 minute walk from the venue. Tickets cost 50 Dkr The boat leaves at 11.20. On the weekend one cannot book places on the boat in advance, so we will meet there at 10.50 am to make sure every one of us gets on board.
Sunday, April 16.
Guided tour in Christiania, the famous 'free-state' city part of Copenhagen.
The meeting point is at the venue at 10.45 am.
The tour will last 1 hour, Cost is 60 DKK to be paid to the guide.
Soren will be our coordinator for both excursions.

I have known Lin for as long as I'm dancing tango. She runs her own tango
school 'La Luna' in Antwerpen. for more than 20 years. As she has Danish roots,
it's extra nice that she joins TiT for the first time in Copenhagen.
The workshop will focus on navigation skills :-).
