A long weekend in spring, where you are immersed in tango, learning, and nature.
Together, we go one step further!
The Venue
Cradled in the gently rolling fields of the state of Saxony, a large farm has been transformed, over the last 30 years, into a seminar center. Gut Frohberg.
They offer lodging in single and double rooms with private bathrooms. Next to that you can also stay in a dorm room or pitch your own tent or park your mobile home.
Gut Frohberg offers 5 dance rooms with wooden floors, a barrel sauna, an open-air yoga rooftop, and plenty of open space for walks alone or in good company. There is also a small private lake for an early morning or late afternoon dip. All elements that are needed for a great time together in one package.
An experienced team in the kitchen serves all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in the spacious dining hall.
Situated 40 km outside of Dresden, right next to Meissen, it is easily reached by public transport. We will organize a shuttle service for the last leg for those who need this.

First evening milonga after dinner

Every day a soft body awakening moment in the morning, and then 3 hours of workshops per day by our teachers, practice time under guidance, and evening milonga. An intense time to further develop both your Tango dance roles.
Our teachers will give the same class 2x per day, this way, the groups are not to large, and all participants get the same material. No need to choose.
We will dance to traditional tango music.
Ezgi Turmus
After the successful reception of Ezgi by our TiT participants in Asa last summer, we looked together for where we could invite her again. We're very happy to have found Gut Frohberg as the home to explore tango with her further.
Ezgi Turmus started to dance tango in the Istanbul University Dance Club/2004. She worked with many different tango teachers. She was interested in both roles of tango since the day she started tango, and she performed in many organizations. After graduation, she came back to Samsun and founded her community, which is called TangoSam, and started teaching in 2009. Then she went to Buenos Aires for a while and continued to improve herself, and again came back to Samsun for teaching.
Istanbul Mundial de Baile 2017 finalist, 8th place as a leader. Now she is an open role dancer who is currently known all over the world and gives lectures and shows.

Miguel Gallego
Miguel was proposed by Ezgi as a second teacher for our weekend, so for sure sparks will fly.
Colombian-born tango dancer and teacher.
He studied both roles in Colombia, Argentina and Italy with various renowned maestros. His foundations stem from the Dinzel System, a methodology focused on developing improvisation in dance.
He was a member of the tango stage company "Yira Cuore" in Bogotá. In recent years, he has performed with different dancers in countries such as Switzerland, France, Spain, and Turkey.
In his dancing, he seeks simplicity, expressiveness, and a deep connection with his partner.
He currently teaches regularly in several Italian cities, including Catania, Genoa, Turin, and Florence.
