The Venue
Tango Alegre (also known as 'De Koffiefabriek) is our home for this special edition of Totally in Tango.
The venue is located right in the historic city center. It boasts a nice dance salon with a wooden floor and a good sound system, a bar area, and a terrace making it a great place for learning, dancing, eating, and socializing.

Our Teacher
Astrid Cerpentier is a long-time neo-dancer, neo-teacher, neo-organizer in the Belgium tango scene. Already in 2011, I worked with her on classes I organized before my milonga.
The classes will be given in English.
The interpretation of the ‘NEW TANGO’ starts with principles such as circular walking, and moving through and around one another.
It is a tango that ‘takes’ the space, with dynamics, abrazos that are alive, connexion, and singularity.
These are principles that give steps color, meaning, and substance. Out of the strict form of tango, freedom of roles is created, and this leads to a completely new vocabulary that fits this modern world.

Pricing & Registration
We welcome all dancers who enjoy double-role dancing.
No need to register with a partner. We will change partners regularly during the classes. We all dance with each other.
Is your friend/partner (still) a single-role dancer? You are both welcome.
Your participation fee is 200 Euro
Accommodation is not included.
Drinks, evening meals, and small snacks are included.
Your participation will only be
confirmed by us after the reception
of your participation fee.
No single-day passes will be sold.
