Our Vision:
We want to create a space for dancers who love exploring both roles, who love to explore the Spanish culture and the warm Spanish welcome.
From Tuesday to Friday, we’ll focus on learning, and on new experiences.
Celine and Alexis will guide us in the classes,
By Friday afternoon, the energy shifts — fewer classes, more time to simply dance, connect, and enjoy the late summer sun. You’re welcome to join either part of the journey, or both.
This tango event is organised in cooperation with Ana and Alain.
They met each other in this hotel 10 years ago, while Ana was living
and working nearby. They have been organising tango weeks here
with Celine and Alexis and want this to be shared with the TiT community.
Ana and Alain will be organising the cultural program, and Ana will
also be part of the DJ team. Anna and Alain were also
involved in our 2023 Granada event.
The Venue
Hotel Puerto Bahia is situated in El Puerto de Santa Maria -near Cadiz – and will host us for
the classes, milongas, and accommodation.
The hotel offers us a fixed group rate for single and twin rooms, half board (breakfast 08.00-11.00 and dinner 20.30-22.00).
If you want to extend your stay before or after the TiT program at the same rates, that is possible through us.
The hotel is located next to the beach and has a large swimming pool and a Spa.

They are highly regarded social tango teachers based in Barcelona, Spain. Alexis, originally from Chile, has resided in Barcelona for 19 years, while Celine is from France. They have been collaborating for over a decade, specializing in social tango. Their work primarily involves weekend travel to promote their unique approach to tango, which they describe as subtle, comfortable, rich in sensations, and "very tasty." Their teaching is grounded in a thorough understanding of movement anatomy, musicality, musical interpretation, and practical tango techniques for social dancers.
The classes will be in Spanish and English.

The Program
Practical
Due to the size of the dance room, we will limit the number of participants to 80 for the relaxed time, and to 50 for the intensive time. This is to ensure we all have an enjoyable time.
Cultural program:
-Visit to Cadiz's old centre: Cadiz is a peninsula and is the oldest city of Spain. We likely take the ferry and explore the city centre on foot. (Cost around 20 euros).
-Visit of Jerez: Jerez is the birthplace of the sherry wine, has a strong equestrian tradition, and is the world's major center for flamenco music and dance. We hire a bus to bring us to the city centre. We have a walking tour in the city centre and then want to attend a flamenco show.

show).
-Visit to Vejer de la Frontera: Vejer is one of the beautiful “white villages” or pueblos blancos in Andalusia. It has a picturesque hilltop location with nice views. We hire a bus to bring us to the village to explore on foot (Cost around 25-30 euros).
During the 3 excursions, there will be the possibility to enjoy a lunch which is not included in the cost.
All excursions offer a taste of Spain, to supplement the tango bliss we will be experiencing.
Registration for the cultural visits is simultaneous with the general registration process.
The nearest airports are: Jerez de la Frontera (29km), Sevilla (116km), and Malaga (211km). There are good train connections from Jerez de la Frontera and Sevilla to El Puerto de Santa Maria. If you are more dancers travelling together, there are also often car rental bargains in Spain (e.g. with Goldcar).
Pricing & Registration
We welcome all dancers that enjoy double role dancing.
No need to register with a partner.
We all dance with each other.
Is your friend/partner (still) a single role dancer? You are both welcome.
Lodging prices:
Single room (half board): 90 euros per person per night.
Twin/double room (half board): 60 euros per person per night.
Extra price per night for sea view: 8 euros per person per night
You can book your room together with your registration.
Your participation fee is 250 euros for the Intensive time + the relaxed time (6 days), or 120 euros for the relaxed time (3 days). This includes all classes and dance times (see the schedule above). The excursions are to be booked and paid for separately.
Accommodation is not included.
We will provide water and small snacks during the dance times. The hotel has a full bar operational for alcoholic and soft drinks, coffee, tea, etc...
