Our host and Teacher:

Yailet Suarez

Yailet is a professional dancer/teacher, based in Milan. She started dancing tango in 2008.

I met her in 2018 for the first time in Eindhoven. Only in 2024 did we meet again, and once more, I was impressed with her energy, knowledge, and drive. She's a perfect teacher for TiT. In 2024 she was with TiT in Hamburg, in 2026 we invited her to come back to Hamburg and to join our Starkow event. And now, in 2027, we're working together in Milan.

Her research interests are highly focused on tango dynamics, and her classes are based on a strong work on rhythm and musicality.

More info on the themes we will be working on the next page.

The Venue

La Sala degli Artisti is a long-standing dance school and a regular place for milongas in the Milan tango scene.

Our room is + 200 m2 large, has a wooden floor, and a professional sound system.

Our dance venue is located outside of the city center, in a day-to-day regular Milan neighbourhood. Authentic Italian flavor assured.

The Last Supper

We are looking to organize a guided group visit to see the Last Supper mural painting on Saturday, 20 February, in the morning.

Because access to the Last Supper is very limited and demand is high, tickets must be booked well in advance. If you are interested in joining the guided tour, please indicate it during your registration. Price TBD

Inside the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, you stand before Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, painted between 1495 and 1498 and still considered one of the world’s most extraordinary Renaissance masterpieces.

It is not simply a museum visit.  It is a rare encounter with Leonardo’s genius, one of the most famous images in Western art, and one of Milan’s most powerful cultural experiences.

The Duomo and the terraces

For anyone spending time in Milan, the Duomo is not just something to see. It is something to feel. We propose to join a guided group on Monday, 22 February, in the afternoon.

The Duomo, the city’s marble heart. Begun in 1386, this extraordinary Gothic cathedral tells more than six centuries of history through its soaring columns, stained glass, sculptures and richly carved details.

The real magic is that you can experience it from several angles: step inside the vast cathedral, explore the archaeological remains beneath the square, and walk on the rooftop terraces among 135 spires and more than 3,400 statues, with the golden Madonnina watching over the city.

You can book your spot during registration. Price TBD
