Our Vision:

In Sheffield, we’re creating a space for dancers who love exploring both roles.

With an intensive learning track guided by Yanina and Emmanuel, open drop-in classes with Lucas and Melanie, plenty of hours for social dancing, and shared meals prepared on site, St Andrew’s Church will transform into a vibrant double-role tango hub for the weekend.

Do not hesitate and join us!

The Venue:

Saint Andrew's is a vibrant center for community activities in the Sheffield city fabric.

They have hosted many tango activities in the past, as it used to be the home for a monthly milonga.

The authentic wooden floor is excellent to dance on, and we will bring in our own sound system.

A second room provides us with a classroom/dining space.

We can dance till late, as there are no direct neighbors :-).

The Teachers:

Yanina Muzyka & Emmanuel Casal

Yanina Muzyka and Emmanuel Casal are internationally renowned Argentine tango dancers and teachers, celebrated for their powerful stage presence, precision of technique, and vibrant musicality. Over the years they have travelled the world teaching and performing, inspiring dancers with their dynamic interpretation of tango.

For the Totally in Tango community, Yanina and Emmanuel bring a particularly inspiring perspective. Their teaching combines strong technical foundations with creativity and adaptability, encouraging dancers to explore new possibilities in the dialogue between partners. With their energy, clarity, and generosity as teachers, they create an environment where dancers can deepen their understanding of movement, musicality, and connection — whether dancing in one role or exploring both.

Lucas Gastiarena and Melanie Jarman

Together they run the local tango school ''Tango in the Peaks.'
They have both been dancing, learning, and teaching together, half of their lives in Buenos Aires and the other half in England. They have travelled from an open embrace and a more experimental approach to a more traditional and technical style of dancing but trying always to keep the fun and the passion which gave them the best tandas and a tiny tanguera and tanguero, Eloisa and Leon.

We will have a specialised guide for our group. This visit is not included in the weekend price. You can book (and pay) for it during the registration process.

Sheffield is on the edge of the Peak District. An area known for great views and walks. A 20 minute ride by bus brings you in a totally different world. Find out more here
